We have a 40gb DB with much of the space used by images on 2 tables. I am trying to make the the DB size more manageable for development, backing up & taking copies off-site. We don't need the images for now. I have copied the images from one table to another DB. And I have set the image col to null & run dbcc cleantable. Is there something else I need to do before shrinking the database? Thanks |

I know. Inherited system - no choice at the moment. Does anyone have feedback on freeing up space? |
