I have some Questions about SQL server 2000 Indexes.

1, How I can find out the corrupted indexes? I mean is there any scripts?
2, how I can resolve corrupted index problem?
3, I used sp_help ‘table name’ I am seeing clustered and nonclustered index .If possible can you just explain the functionalities.
4, Why Indexes are corrupting automatically? If possible can you just explain some reasons?

I am facing some issues in my prod server. Please help me

1. DBCC CHECKDB
2. Various ways
3. It is explained in Books Online
4. Indexes are not corrupted automatically. Where did you get this bad information?
