| How much performance impact will be there for IndexI am executing query for one table having Index. It is taking long time to execute. But after removing index it is taking very less time.Can anybody tell how much impact difference? |

| Well yes, lets guess at the possible reasons as there's no way we can get you the definitive answer with the info provided.Maybe you were inserting rows into a big table with a clustered index? Maybe you were doing this 1 at a time. Who can say?You'll have to post some information about the table, and the batch or we are just ******* in the wind.-------------Charlie |
