 Recovering a Database

A database was deleted. There are no backups except the backup of the filesystem that include the data files. Is there a way to recover/rebuild/restore the deleted database from these mdf files.

You could try attaching the database files, however there is no guarantee that this will work unless the backup was taken while the SQL Server service was stopped.
