That is pretty cool. I could breeze through that paragraph with no problems. Texting short-hand on the other hand drives me nuts. I can't easily read it and when people post questions using it I don't even bother anymore. Give me a bad speller over a lazy typer anyday :)

btw By the way tan, basesd on Arnolds occasional but all knowing posts, I may start a Beatles-like ("we are more popular than Jesus") controversy. He seems be aware of all things, knows all the answers, and be generally omnipotent...Could he be...? No, I dare not say it.

EDIT:
no, he edited his last post. That means he made a mistake...oh well.

EDIT (again):
re-reading this post I see that it could be interpreted as sarcastic and mean. That was not my intention at all. Rather than deleting my post I'll just say: Arnold, you are one of my favorite contributors...keep up the good work :)

There was also a post by someone here at SQLTeam about 4-5 years ago that demonstrated this, I forget who wrote it ...(maybe rrb ?)

This issue has caused me problems with t-sql programming. If the field name is fprodcl and I accidently mis-type it as frpodcl my brain refuses to see the problem even if I get an error from the database which says:

Invalid column name 'frpodcl'.

That means you should have named the column frpodcl in the first place.

Brett just posted something that read:

"probably with an UPDATE sa well"

I guess he misstyped "as" but I read that several times and each time saw the sa and un-consciously filled in the "missing" [as]:
"probably with an UPDATE sa as well"

I couldn't figure out what he meant by updating SA.

So I think a similar phenonenon happens with missing words
I've also seen something about repeated words where the 2nd instance is on the next line. The brain ignores one of them.
