I am running XP 64 as a main operating system ... then i run a virtual machine and install MS Server DataCentre Edition x64 and then i try and install SQL Server 2008 on the Ms Server in the Virtual Machine but the installation program does not automatically install the 64bit version but instead installs the x86 version ... any suggestions or am i doing this wrong !!i would think that if i use xp (64), then use VMware workgroup(64) and then install MS Server (64 ) then SQL Server should also install the (x64) version right ?? My processor is a AMD Athlon 64 Black Edititon.Thanks. |
