I havent done access in quite some time but I was trying to link a 2005 SQL Server table to an access db. I created the odbc connection and can link the table but upon opening the table in MS Access all I see is #Deleted for values in all the fields. Something to this effect:



Anyone know why this happens? Or how I can see the actual data?

Does the table you are linking to have a primary key defined? If not, Access cannot browse the data since it has no way of knowing which row you are on.

Sorry forgot to post the answer. I read somewhere that access does not like the bigint style columns for PK...once it was converted to INT it worked fine.
