hi has anyone noticed timeout errors in search recently ? ?I had timeout errors on search a couple of times.harsh.He is a fool for five minutes who asks , but who does not ask remains a fool for life! |

2003 was a pretty active year...did you try limiting the search criteria...it's probably scanning the data pages....Brett8-) |

I have had timeouts if I'm searching too large of a range, as Brett has suggested. But since Graz upgraded the Snitz code a while back, it doesn't time out as quickly as it used to. I have never tried to limit the searches, as the more threads u read the more knowledge u gain. :)He is a fool for five minutes who asks , but who does not ask remains a fool for life! |

True, but you won't get the timeout error when you narrow down your results. Also searching on everything slows the site down for everyone else. It sometimes is necessary, but try to limit the search a little, even if you have to search forum by forum.Tara |
