I keep seeing posts recommending recoverytoolbox. Looking at them there are a lot where someone new creates a first post that they have a database problem, and then another (brand new) user proposes using recoverytoolbox. I can only conclude that they are all SPAM.

There are about 3 a month for the last year ...

Shall I just delete them all?

I find it odd that someone would go to the trouble of registering, post their Data Corruption problem, receive a suggestion to use recoverytoolbox from someone who only ever posted that suggestion, and the O/P never bothered to return to say how wonderful it was ... most times we get people coming back repeatedly asking for further advice on how to proceed with trying to un-corrupted their damaged database, or at least to say "thank you".

maybe its the best thing since sliced bread, but if it is I am sure they wouldn't need to SPAM the forums about it, all the Old Hands would know about it and be recommending it ...

... I recommend that anyone reading this thinks twice about downloading a product which does its marketing by spamming the forums.

Here are the "users" that have posted recommendations for recoverytoolbox. I can't see that any of them have posted anything OTHER than that recommendation ...

That's fine Graz, just I reckoned that this lot have been getting in under the radar. In future I'll Chirp Up when they post again
