| I have a PrimaryServer, MirrorServer and a WitnessServer. My backups are failing with the Error Msg 954 cannot be opened. It is acting as a mirror database. The backup jobs run on the PrimaryServer but when I look at the sys.database_mirroring it shows that the roles has been swith beteen the PrimaryServer & MirrorServer (which is now acting as the primary). This started when the .ldf was being move to another. Since the .ldf has been move successfully now when I restart the Primary I guess it will see the .ldf(at it's new location) and be able to backup the log file without failing and go back to being the Primary. Correct? |
