i you want to create an artificial gap between my current seed and starting from a new value to my identity column "idcar"

this is my table
CREATE TABLE [dbo].[cars](
[idcar] [int] IDENTITY(1,1) NOT NULL,
[make] [varchar](50) NULL,
[codeline] [int] NULL,
[year] [int] NULL,

and currently the next value to idcar column is 678 and i want to create a gap to start from the value 2500 for my idcar column

how could i do it??

im creating this gap because i have a project and i need to reserve the idcar column from value 678 to 2499 to fill a month later

many many thanks in advanced for your help
