| Hi,I am new in this field and I am working a project in DW for university.But I have a big problem and I've tried but I don't find solution maybe ,I hope that here you can help me!I would deploy my cube in business intelligence development but I have this error: Errore 7 :Impossibile distribuire il progetto nel server 'CONCETTA-PC\SQLEXPRESS' a causa dei problemi di connettività seguenti: Impossibile stabilire una connessione al redirector. Verificare che il servizio 'SQL Browser' sia in esecuzione. Per verificare o aggiornare il nome del server di destinazione, fare clic con il pulsante destro del mouse sul progetto in Esplora soluzioni, scegliere Proprietà progetto, fare clic sulla scheda Distribuzione, quindi immettere il nome del server. it's Impossible deploy cube because it's impossibile to establish a connection with redirector and I have to verify id service SQL browser is running!Sql browser is run, and also sql server. My version is sql express and I am working in local.The name server is correct and the authentication is the same as windows.the connection with sql server is shared memory.I hope that someone can help me!!!!thanks! |

| Are you trying to do something that isn't supported by express?It doesn't have the analysis services service.==========================================Cursors are useful if you don't know sql.SSIS can be used in a similar way.Beer is not cold and it isn't fizzy. |

| Now I see that express hasn't this function :( !!Now I am trying a download trial for sql server 2008 standard edition o developer but I don't find them!!!!!! it's a biggggg problem! |

the link 2008 standard edition redirects the download sql server 2012 that it is not supported OS XP!Sql server enterprise edition is only for OS server!!I don't know what to do!!!!aufff |
