| My D drive is full and i want to move the data file or mdf file to E which has space.and d drive will have log file only.Will it be a problem having files on different drives. |

| No problem at all. Depending on disk activity on the E: drive.Be sure to copy, and not move the file. Once you've successfully attached, you can delete the original. |
