Service packs contain all security and bug fixes that where released up to that point, and sometimes new ones. Some service packs also contiain some hotfixes that will improve some functions of the program. It is always recomened to test out the service pack on a test environment to makes sure it will not interfear with the stability of your environment or cause any other unforseen issues (like fixing a loop hope that your developers take advantage of). Once that testing is done then you should deploy to your production environment.-- If I get used to envying others...Those things about my self I pride will slowly fade away.-Stellvia |
