i installed sql server 2008 r2 registration was sucessfull but i am not getting the local server name when i am trying to connect i tried registering teh server as local but not able to register |

how you were trying to register? there's no registration needed. you just need to install it and make sure that service is running.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------SQL Server MVPhttp://visakhm.blogspot.com/ |

Press Ctrl+Alter+G or in SSMS click on View then registered servers. |
