| The age old question -package runs it BIDS but doesnt via SQL Agent.Here is my setup.I have a desktop that acts like our team's sql server.I have service account called fa_sql which has admin rights on that desktop. The SQL agent is logged on as fa_sql and the job step is run as SQL Agent service account.The BIDS package has a cmd file that calls a vbs on C drive to open an excel file on C drive, connects to a TM1 database and makes a copy of itself. It was working for 2 weeks until they installed VPN ability on the desktop.Either that or they installed Cisco communicator v8.Since then the part that connects to TM1 doesnt work but the rest of the macros in the excel workbook works. fa_sql has access to TM1. Any ideas why it stopped working ? |
