I have 2008 R2 and 2005 SQL instances on my local work station.

I recently updated to a new user when joining a new domain. When I did, I updated the services that run each of these instances to this new user.

The SQL 2005 instance worked perfectly. But, my 2008 R2 instance keeps getting login failure when authenticating.

"Login failed or user "". (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 18456)"Any suggestions?
