I'm running SQL 2008 Standard. I'm experiencing lock-ups once or twice a week, which I'm in the process of debugging. In the meantime, is it possible to configure SQL Server to send me an email when the lock-ups happen? I realize I could write an application to do it, but I'm hoping to find a better way. |

There is a query in the DMV views, or the sp_locks procedure.Have a scheduled job investigate at a regular interval and send email if it finds something suspicious. N 56°04'39.26"E 12°55'05.63" |
