| Hello,When connecting to a SQL instance that is listening on a port other than the default how is it that I am able to connect to the instance without specifying which port to use in both studio and .net applications? It is like magic! |

| Oh! Interesting. That's what that thing does. I thought I had it disabled. I guess ill let it keep helping me out though! It seems that may also be the service allowing me to connect to an instance without specifying the instance. |
