Hey all,

can somebody tell me, how I can change the path of the log-directory from SQL Server Agent created Log Files?

standart dir is C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\LOG

and it should be for example C:\Logs\SQLSA
SP4 installed!

Thx

Open SQL Server Configuration manager.
Choose SQL Server Services in the left pane
Right Click SQL Server in the right pane
Click properties
Go to the adanced tab
Change the path of the logs in the startup paramaters.

BE VERY CAREFUL If you make a mistake, your SQL Server won't start! This tool modifies the startup params in the registry.
