A customer of mine has just run into the 4 gig limitation of SQL 2005 express. They using A docmanagment client to send doc into a SQL instance. They are planning a 2008 upgrade. The question Is would there be any issues using SQL workgroup as the update vers SQL Standard?
I have looked at the comparison chart at
http://www.microsoft.com/sqlserver/2008/en/us/editions-compare.aspx and nothing stands out immediately.

Thank you in advance.

If they aren't using any of the features/specs that Standard has but Workgroup doesn't, then Workgroup would be fine. It's not really something that we can answer for them with the information you have provided.
