It just happened that I stumbled across the Brainbench site and I took a test on RDBMS as it was free. The questions were not that basic or nor were highy advanced but was some what advanced at an intermediate level. It tested your core RDBMS concept and were not vendor specific. My score was 4.71 out of 5.So any of you folks have any experience on the credibilty and advantages of this certification and the weight that it might add on the Resume.Of course one advantage that I can see is that there are no "Dumps" available the way they are for Microsoft or any vendor certifications like MCTS,MCSE,OCP,CCNA etc etc.PBUH |

I remember brainbench from WAAYYY back around 98 or so. I still have a certificate laying around the house somewhere... I can look for it when i get home.It never did anything special for me. It could be because it was brand new back then.http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/jeffs/archive/2008/05/13/question-needed-not-answer.aspxHow to ask: http://weblogs.sqlteam.com/brettk/archive/2005/05/25/5276.aspxFor ultra basic questions, follow these links.http://www.sql-tutorial.net/ http://www.firstsql.com/tutor.htm http://www.w3schools.com/sql/default.asp |
