All running fine since a reboot. All the MDF files are right there



CREATE FILE encountered operating system error 32(The process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process.) while attempting to open or create the physical file 'E:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL10.PRO\MSSQL\DATA\hardcore.mdf'. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 5123)

master, model, msdb, tempdb are available

Wow! There is a solution to a Microsoft problem! A step ahead for mankind. Usually the only choice is to erase the hard disk and reinstall all software and import data.

Quit SSMS and restart it. What an unblemished design!

A whole 3-minute day period has passed, and ONLY ONE ERROR in a day!! Just one!! I usually expect 6 the to power of 40. It must already be Xmas!
