Hi,I am planning to install SP2 for SQL Server 2008 on a server that has a couple of mirrored databases (High Safety - no witness). I have a couple of questions that I hope someone can clarify first:1. If I upgrade the Principal do I have to also upgrade the mirror? Ideally I would like to only upgrade the principal as there is an app that hooks into the databases. If SP2 causes issues I intend to point the app at the mirrored (non SP2 db's). If all appears well a day or so after the upgrade I will upgrade the mirror also.2. When running the SP2 upgrade should I disable mirroring?Any advice would be appreciated. |

Upgrade complete, here are my answers to my questions:1. No. I have upgraded only the Principal instance and the mirrored instance seems quite happy to carry on mirroring.2. I did in this instance but I don't think it is required. |
