Hello,

I am running SQL Server 2005 SP3 on a Windows Server 2003 cluster.
I have three SQL instances installed. Lets call the SQLInstanceA, SQLInstanceB and SQLInstanceC. I am now planning on removing the SQLInstanceC. I have done this several times on a standalone machine but never on a cluster. I assume I simply go into Add\Remove programs, choose the SQL Server installation, click on 'Change' and then choose the the instance I want to remove.

Would that be the recommeneded way to do it? Are there any additional steps I should perform before or after removing the SQL instance with 'Add/Remove programs'?

Thank you
Marcus

Yes that's how you uninstall. Afterwards, you'll need to remove it from Cluster Admin.
