Hi,

One of my developer/vendor would like to upgrade their application which will make some DDL changes to the articles that are being replicated. What is the best possible and easiest way to remove this database from being involved with replication for temporary period of time ,so that I can enable it back again without dropping any publication and subscription?

Thanks for help in advance.

Thanks

What kind of DDL changes are being made? Adding columns get replicated starting in 2005.

If you really want to remove replication, then you just drop it like normal and then readd it like normal but specify not to initialize and not to run a snapshot. This is assuming that no data changes have been made in between the drop/create of replication.
