Hi..

I was trying to login into SQL2005 from local machine which with an testuser and a password whic i created in remotdesktop sever sql 2005.

but iam unable login veery time when i am truing to connect i was getting an error message.

iam able to ping the server ip address in my local maching.

wondering is there any security settings in remotdesktop sql2005
which restricting to login from other ipaddress?

reaally appriciate if u could help me.

check firewall settings at the remote sql server for port 1433 and 1434.

now i am into the remote desktop sql2005 server
from here
could you plz guide me how to check the firewall settings to the port 1433 and 1434
