Hi,

Is there any special configuration required to use more than 4Gb of memory on 64 BIT OS WINDOWS 2003 SP3 and SQL SERVER 2005 64bit?

Is there anything's additional required to make sure proper memory allocated with SQL SERVER?

Thanks

russell

No. it will utilize the additional RAM without any special configuration. I would set the MAX memory in SQL Server to leave at least 2 GB for the OS though
