Hello there,
am new to sql server 2005. I want to find out if it's possible to do log shipping on one computer having two instances. One instance acts as a primary server and the other as a secondary server.

Yes this is possible...no need to move the log files though since both instances probably has acces to the same disk resources.

Setting up log shipping on one computer with two instances is no different than setting up log shipping on two computers. I don't see why you'd want to do this though. Could you explain the reason?
