A quick review of Books Online will show you that the SQL Server service runs the actual databases (SELECTs, INSERTS, et al) while the SQL Agent service runs the scheduled events (Jobs, Alerts, et al).=======================================Few things are harder to put up with than the annoyance of a good example.
