Hello,

My MS SQL 2005 server went offline for about 15 days. During this time the customer used a copy of the database on their workstations. Now that the server was online again have to pick one of these databases and apply the server to update. How can I do this? The customer base has to be applied at the base of the server in order to upgrade.

You can take a backup from that wanted workstation-database and restore it to your server.

When performing the restore will be upgraded in the current database?

What upgrade are you referring to?

I have to take a database and applied in another, updating it. The process of backup and restore MS SQL 2005 does this? That clears the basis of destination?

BACKUP/RESTORE takes care of everything for you inside the user database.
