Hi,I have to deploy a SQL Server 2008 on a server. The setup is this: 7 kiosks (unattended PCs) running an UI that connects to a DB server. They may have to connect in the same time, and use multiple connections to the DB.I could not understand the SQL Server 2008 licensing. Which would be the least expensive license that suits this? I was looking at the Standard for Small Business, but it seems that it needs a domain controller, and there is none needed and none setup in my environment. And it comes with 5 device CALs, which is too little, right? Thanks. |
