Good afternoon, I am trying to install a second instance of SQL 2005 on a blade server. I was getting the error message PW doesn't meet necessary Windows PW policy. I think I got around that issue by changing the Yukon90_ in the Instmsdb.sql file. My ultimate goal is to install SMS 2003 on the server, but it originally and still is giving me the message "Setup cannot create the required database tables, contact SQL administrator." Now I will say my skills do not lie in SQL, I have installed it but it was clean installs every time. Can someone please explain to me where I am going wrong and what I need to do. A lot of the answers point to making SMS a dbo, not sure if that is correct or not if so can you walk me through how to do that. Thank you for any and all advice. |
