Hi,
I just bought a new desktop computer that has windows 7 home premium installed in it. Can i install Sql Server 2008 in this. Should i be installing the 64 bit version.

for desktops you can install developer edition ( which cost $50 ) or express ( which is free )

for servers, you have
1. express
2. workgroup
3. web
4. standard
5. enterprise
