| I'm studying for the 70-432 test (SQL Server 2008 Implementation & Maintenance). I've already checked for misprints/updates on this and haven't found any.I'm finally at the clustering chapter, where we're supposed to setup a standard windows cluster using SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition on Either Windows Server 2003 SP2 Standard Edition or Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition.Windows Server 2008 Standard Edition does NOT support any form of clustering as it states in this step-by-step document from ms: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=518d870c-fa3e-4f6a-97f5-acaf31de6dce&displaylang=enDoes this mean that SQL Server 2008 Standard Edition only supports two node failover clustering on:Windows 2003 SP2 Standard or HigherWindows 2008 Enterprise or HigherAm I missing something here or does this NOT make any sense?-Jonathan |

| clustering is not supported on 2003 or 2008 standard editions.To create a 2 node failover cluster on SQL 2008 standard edition, it needs to be installed on Windows 2003/8 enterprise edition or higher. this looks like a misprint to me.regardsGavin |
