| Hi All, i m newbie for MsSQL 2005. I want copy a database into my laptop for me to simulate the system. How i copy it into my laptop (Main Database is still running and use by around 700 user per day). Hope it will not effect the main database. Please teach me step by step. |

Read about backup (with copy_only)http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms191495(SQL.90).aspxand restore.Replication is imho not what you want.
