We in the UK have a new World Champion by the name of one Jenson Button.

I know you Americans fell out of love with Formula 1 a few years ago, but for those of us across the pond who love our motor racing to have more than 4 corners, having another world champion is a major achievement and makes most of us proud (except of course the moaning whingers, but they like moaning and will never admit to being happy).

The race at Interlagos showed why F1 is still a brilliant sport and if you watched it, you wouldn't wonder why it is the No.1 watched sport in the world. What a classic race..

It's not that we don't love Formaul One over, we just can't count that high!

What's the point? They always end up back at the starting line anyway. Having additional corners is simply inefficient.

F1 recently roar pass here last month at night. The tracks are mainly twist and turns and not in straight line. I didn't catch my attention at all. Anyway i was not in town at that time

I live less than 90 miles (144 Kilometers) from Watkins Glen International. The second weekend of September they bring back all classes that are no longer active for 3 great days of racing. 3 years ago we were lucky enough the have a few F1 cars. My gawd are they fast!

(and I usually drive there in my 77 Mini )

Watkins Glen, now theres a track with more than 4 left hand bends..

khtan - I didn't realise bots took vacations. Singapore unfortunately does not produce overtaking, this is a design fault, but sure you'll be willing to re-design the city to accomodate it.

blindman - inefficiency sometimes rules, better than artificially creating a result and a tightly bunched fields for a spectacle simply because theres a feather on the track (or whatever excuse they come up with in Nascar).

jimf - That made me giggle out loud at work, the odd looks are quite amusing though..

There actually are a few NASCAR races on road courses, but most are on speedway tracks.

Americans like races were it’s OK to crash into each other without both cars disintegrating into a pile of carbon fiber.

The NASCAR and F1 drivers are all panzies in my opinion...the WRC drivers however, holy smokes!! Going 200kmh on a dirt road in the middle of the woods, now THAT's driving!!

That's not driving. That's just Kentucky.

I vote for more than four corners.

But I also agree with the anti disintegration.

There should be some in-between including more than 4 corners and allowed contact.
