The backup job scheduled at 11PM failed. Below is the error I got from the Windows event log.What does this mean-"Operating system error 64(The specified network name is no longer available.)".How do i troubleshoot this error?BackupDiskFile::RequestDurableMedia: failure on backup device '\\\Complete\User\AsReporting_backup_200910072300.bak'. Well, I don't mean to be rude and state the obvious here but isn't it pretty clear?? "The specified network name is no longer available" tells me that at the time of the backup "\\Complete\User\" was not accessible. Could it be that you have three backslashes instead of the two you are supposed to?Change'\\\Complete\User\AsReporting_backup_200910072300.bak'to'\\Complete\User\AsReporting_backup_200910072300.bak'maybe...?- Lumbagohttp://xkcd.com/327/ |

I have the same problem and am certain that the target location is correct, driving me nuts for weeks. Rebooting the target server resolves but it comes back sooner or later.
