for those of you that drive in the US (many of you I suppose) and also have iPhone (smaller subset!) this may be of interest.

The company I work for just released a free app for iphone that shows you realtime and predictive traffic nationwide. It's very neat. I think so anyway!

I didn't build the app as I'm a GUI idiot , but my code does all the calculations of speeds on the road that support it

Awesome app! I just got it and it looks very useful so far. I'll definitely be using this over the traffic function that comes with the default maps app. Kudos to your company for making this free!

hi jezemine, may i know how you connect the map with database?i mean showing information of the location...because i having my final year project to create a mini map in the college...can you guide me?

sql server 2008 has spatial datatypes built in. suggest looking into that.

I'm a numbers guy. I do all the numeric calculations for the product - speeds on the road, etc. Not the presentation. :)

argh...too bad...because im stuck at the design stage...worrying couldn't display the information out to the map
