| i almost new to ssis, i have a flat file with variable length fields, my table's fields defined are varchar(MAX) buy ssis is truncating my strings to 50, what can i do ?Leo |

| Go to the Destination File Manager and change the length of the column from the column mappings. |

ssis defaulting string length to 50 in a flat file
