Would you be able to pass the database name to a report and based on the database name, this would be used to show that particular tables from that database passed? |

you can do that with help of dynamic query but why do it this way?why is database dynamic in your case? |

We have various product groups, each group is housed in a different Database. Some customers sell more than one product group. So for their reports, they could tell the Report which database to select from. |

are you asking about database engine as such or report server? |
