I am in the workings of designing and building a Data Warehouse.Now I have come to the point where I need to document things.I have used DocumentX before, but I can't remember if there was an option to add freetext to the automated stuff.Please feel free to suggest a good documentation tool for databases.Naturally all the tedious stuff such are schemas, tables, columns, indexes and so on should be documented automatically.What I also need from the tool, is to add free text to the tables.Information such as1. Purpose of table 2. Kind of information in columns3. How table is loaded; which package populates data into it.4. And other things.These are some information I need to manually add to the automated stuff.Any ideas?
