Hi,

The client requested that the default date of a report will be todays date. However, he also wants the option that he will be able to set up a report subscription with the date a week before today and that report will be automatically send out with last weeks data.
Do i need to separate reports for this since he also wants to be able to have the date todays date?

Thanks

It would be a seperate subscription and not a completely "new" report. You can set up numerous subscriptions all with different pre-determined parameters(like the date in your example).

Use expressions. Take today's date, and use one of the date functions to subtract one week. I am not home and do not have access to Report Manager and the subscriptions page to provide a more direct answer. You'd have to go to that section and see way can be done.

Setup up a subscription to run the report(s) on a monthly schedule.
I'd like to recommend a book to read that I recently finished, but I am not sure if I can post it here.

I think maybe the client means that he wants to set up reports to run everyday but that one report will show last month figures till today, the other report last weeks figures until today and the third one to show todays figures.

That sounds like you need to use linked reports.

Hi,

I have date_from and date_to parameters. Can't i in some way set up 3 report subscriptions and set date_from for the weekly report to todays date less 7 days?

Yes, that should work. Forget what I said about using a linked report, I was going in a different direction.

Hi,

I have the default date_from set to Todays date.
If the user wants to set up a subscription with date_FROM =Today.AddDays(-7)(last week) how do i do that?

Thanks
