Hi,

I am facing a problem occassionally during the uploads of data from temp tables into actual tables.

But I am receiving the foll error:
Transaction (Process ID 88) was deadlocked on lock resources with another process and has been chosen as the deadlock victim. Rerun the transaction.

Kindly assist in case you have any suggestions/solutions to resolve this error.

You'll need to add trace flags in order to figure out who the deadlock owner is.

DBCC TRACEON(1222,-1)

That will only apply to the current SQL Server process, so you'd also need to add it as a startup parameter (-T1222).

The deadlock information will be added to the SQL Server Error Log once a deadlock is encountered. You'll need that information in order to resolve this issue.
