So, AT&T Screwed my customer, and the HVAC guy screwed screwed a server room ac install, and HP Screwed a customer.

In all 3 of these cases I reccomended the correct solution before the problem occurued. But due to cost or convenience or pressure conceded. Later these were major issues.

So I ask everyone here.

Is it better to stand your ground now and possibly be wrong later.

Or

Compromise and accept no blame.

depends on how attached you are to the thing.
personally if i see a problem and report it and nothing gets done about it for say 3 times that i bring it up, i leave it be and simply not care anymore.

Depends upon whether you have ownership. If so, stand your ground. If not, compromise and accept no blame. Always CYA, though.

I concur with all, shine a light on it, document it and if ignored, you get to say I told you so and charge more money!
