Hello everyone. I find myself in an unusual position. I have to rebuild one of our environments and need to use our SQL 2008 Enterprise to set up clustering. The problem is that I have no idea where our Enterprise license key is. Now I have the software installed on one of our DB servers( which is going down) but Belmanage doesn't pick it up, neither do any of the other key retrieval programs that I tried. Now, I'm sure there's a way to find the key that's on the server, just not sure how to go about it. It should be translated somewhere into the registry, or maybe a sql 2008 license key retrieval tool exists, so can anyone point me in the right direction here. I'm at a point where I need to start clustering on the new environment and this is holding me up. Thanks. |

It's an MSDN or action pack license, can't remember. Highly doubt MS will just give us another one. |
