I was looking for a SSAS 2008 book on amazon and came across a review that seemed a little too positive and it made me a bit suspicious so I looked for other reviews by the guy and I found this.http://www.amazon.com/review/RVV5MMTO2C4MXAfter looking into the guy a little more he reminds me of someone that used to frequent this site, SQLUSA I think it was...I'm sure it's not the same person but he does seem to have a network of people who give him 5 star reviews and I have yet to see a review from him that's not outstanding.Anyway, Do you think this guy is a shill or what? My BS detector is buzzing. An infinite universe is the ultimate cartesian product. |

I've seen him around. One of his current haunts is the MSDN forums. Seems like he's always stumping to sell some type of service, be it training or books. He also seems to have, as you kind of stated, a group of flunkies that worship the very ground he walks upon. These are my opinions and it is not my intent to cast aspersions on anyone. But.....Edit: Alwasy seems just a tad arrogant to me.http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/transactsql/thread/6bff0d80-870c-422f-866a-f4307ca8d4ffTerry-- Procrastinate now! |
