| It looks like I have not been able to intallMicrosoft SQL Server 2008 Enterprise Evaluation: Trial Experience for Developers or for IT Professionals. I have the following OS on my machineWindows Vista Enterprise 2008, Service Pack1.Has anybody come across this issue?Thanks |

| I have downloaded files for Trial Experience for Developers when I have clicked on .exe file I got message incompatible software.I have lost my hope to install it on Vista.Thanks,Katya |

| Don't lose hope. We will get you there. 1) Are you downloading correct SQl server binaries (x-86, x-64 or IA-64) which one are you downloading. 2) Check your machine platforn whether it is x-86, or 64-bit because now a days x-64 laptops are common. I'm using 64-bit laptop Windows vista Enterprise edition and SQL 2008 and 2005 are running fine. |
