Anyone using dbmail for large mass mailings?How are you geeting around the fact that SQL can feed the mails much faster than exchange can take then?JimUsers <> Logic |

No I am actually overloading the bugger.I only got about 1000 of a 5000 set.Spaced intermittantly I got this.The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 2 (2008-11-07T12:06:12). Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (Failure sending mail.).)OrThe mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 2 (2008-11-07T12:06:12). Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (The operation has timed out.).)JimUsers <> Logic |

You could try changing your process to send out the emails at few at a time at a rate that the email server can handle.Or get a faster email server.CODO ERGO SUM |
