Hello everyone!I'm very new with SQL 2008.I want to know how to configure surface area configuration on SQL 2008. I looked at 'books on line' but I haven't seen the appropriate page on the Server Management Studio. the article is: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms161956.aspxMeanwhile I only managed to configure one attribute with sp_configure, but it's not comfortable to work like this. Please send me your feedbacks |

Hi,Thx for the link. I read the content of the article. It says the following:Protocols, and connection and startup options ==> Use SQL Server Configuration Manager.Database Engine features ==> Use Declarative Management Framework.SSAS features ==> Use the property settings in SQL Server Management Studio.SSRS features==> Edit the RSReportServer.config configuration file. What means: "Use Declarative Management Framework" ? I'm trying to find a centered gui for administrating the faces - the same properties as with 'sp_config'. Please send me your feedbacks.Roy. |
